This Kirundi edition carries the same argument as the English edition (« A Deadly Lie ») — the Hutu-Tutsi distinction as construction rather than biological reality — but speaks directly to the audience most concerned by the question, in their own language.
The full subtitle promises « five proofs that disprove this ethnicity »: the author doesn't just assert, he documents. The Great Lakes map (DRC, Rwanda, Burundi) stays at the centre of the cover, a reminder that the argument reaches beyond any single country's borders.
