Mânirakíza Zénon, born in Kiganda in 1965, became known for exposing the injustices and hardships within society. Published in 2019, « Ijāmbo Ryūbáka » forms, alongside « Amahóro mu Bāntu » (2020) and « Itêká Ryīsūnga Kirazira », a body of more than 900 Kirundi proverbs and reflections on order, speech and dignity — a body of work built book by book, not improvised all at once.
