Money is neither sacred nor dirty — what you do with it is. A young priest, ordained in July 2025, tackles a subject many spiritual books politely avoid.

The cover photo already says a lot: a man kneeling in prayer, a begging bowl beside him, on a street. Fr. Jean Petit Ntiranyibagira, born in 1996 and ordained a priest on July 5, 2025 after training at the Saint Curé d'Ars Major Seminary in Bujumbura and then the Saint John Paul II Major Seminary in Gitega, writes from Kaburantwa Parish.

The subject — money — is handled without easy moralising: neither demonised nor glorified, but examined as concrete testing ground for lived faith. A young voice, from a priest freshly ordained, speaking to Christians who also wrestle daily with very real questions about money.

A read that doesn't dodge a topic often left unsaid at church.
