UMUTWENZI is a collection of adult literacy booklets. It supports step by step those who have never been to school, or who left very early, and who now want to read, write, and understand what they hear in church, on the radio, or in daily life.

The series is divided into several complementary booklets:
- Trainer’s guide: explains how to organize sessions, support adults, manage pace, correct with kindness, and encourage progress.
- Book 1 – Igitabo ca mbere: first letters, first syllables, very simple words, short sentences, and images for orientation.
- Book 2 – Igitabo ca kabiri: slightly longer texts, comprehension exercises, reading of short stories inspired by everyday life and the Bible.
- Reading manual – green edition: reinforcement, revision, new stories, ideal for continuing practice after the first two volumes.
